Tour of Bonnie Switzer's art studio -- Every one who is interested in Bonnie's art (www.switzerart.com) is invited to an informal tour of her studio and mini-gallery at the home of Bob and Bonnie Switzer, 404 West Michigan Ave., Urbana on Friday evening, Sept. 21, from 9 to 10:30 p.m., following Cheryl Quinn's lecture.

The Biochemistry Department's Annual Fall Research Conference, which features our graduate students' presentations and posters, is also on Friday, 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. This will end as the Switzer Symposium starts, with a reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by a talk by Cheryl Quinn that will effectively close the Fall Conference and open the Symposium. Cheryl's talk will be targeted at both the graduate students and the symposium attendees. The rest of the Symposium will be on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a dinner in Bob's honor in the evening. Our hope is that all Symposium attendees will be able to come to the Friday evening reception and talk by Cheryl Quinn, and stay through Saturday evening for the dinner. All are also very welcome to attend the Annual Fall Conference, during the day on Friday, too.
