POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH ASSOCIATE POSITION TO STUDY
“BREAST CANCER PATHOPHYSIOLOGY”

Postdoctoral position available for highly motivated individuals to join the laboratory of Dr. Erik R. Nelson, within the Department of Molecular and Integrative Physiology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. We have an NCI-NIH funded program investigating the influence of metabolism, the endocrine system and the immune system on breast cancer pathophysiology. Current projects utilize molecular biology, pharmacology, immunology and animal models.

Applicants should hold a PhD or MD/PhD in a relevant field and have strong analytical and communication skills. Persons experienced with flow cytometry and the immune system are highly encouraged to apply. Experience with either animal work, cell culture or molecular biology are considered assets.
