Postdoctoral Research Scientist Position in Cancer Biology
(Prof. Benita Katzenellenbogen Laboratory)

Seeking a Postdoctoral Scientist to join our cancer research program to study hormone receptor signaling and mechanisms of drug resistance and approaches to overcoming therapy resistance in breast cancer. The studies would enable the Postdoc to learn a lot about cancer biology, and the biochemistry, and molecular and cell biology of factors promoting aggressiveness of breast cancer and other cancers, and aspects of drug development. It would also allow them to work with various experimental cancer and metastasis models. Candidates with a PhD in Biology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Cell and Developmental Biology, or related disciplines preferred. We are a friendly and interactive group that encourages independence and leadership.

The position is on a yearly basis, with funding possible for up to 3 years.

Start date: September 1, 2019 or soon thereafter
