Hey everyone! My name is Grace Homa, and I am a senior majoring in the MCB Honors Concentration and minoring in Chemistry. I am part of the Connect Lab assisting Dr. Sepideh Sadaghiani on a simultaneous EEG fMRI study. Along with my academics, I enjoy serving the community. I work as an EMT on an ambulance for Advanced Medical Transport in Champaign-Urbana and Peoria. I am also a volunteer tutor for Parkland's Project READ Program, which provides free tutoring to adult learners who seek to improve their basic reading, writing, math, and English skills. I am a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, a preprofessional health fraternity, where I served on the membership committee. Other RSOs that I am a member of are Alpha Xi Delta and Illini Ski and Snowboard. This school year I plan on serving as a physics lab assistant and a peer mentor and enjoying football season. In my free time, I like to ski, cook, spend time with friends and family, and watch The Office on repeat! I have had a lot of awesome guidance throughout college, which has made me into the person I am today, and I want to be able to provide that guidance to you! Feel free to reach out about anything, can't wait to meet you guys!
