Grad and Postdoc Seminars Calendar
Each seminar should be 20 minutes long and will be timed. If the timer goes off, proceed to your summary slide and do not read your acknowledgement slide. For the presentation, CDs are best but laptops and flashdrives are acceptable.
Send the title of your talk a week before to the departmental secretary.
Students should notify their committee members to attend, and schedule a brief meeting with them directly after the seminar. A short evaluation, which will represent an annual review kept in the student files, should be sent to the departmental secretary within the week following the seminar.
Students who passed their prelim exam are required to give an annual progress report as part of their training. NO CANCELLATIONS will be accepted. It is the presenter's responsibility to trade in the event of a conflict.
