Biography
My name is Kris Jones. This is my second time with the University of Illinois. I worked at the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences from 2001 to 2005. Then, I left to attend Eastern Illinois University to obtain my M.A. in English - Creative Writing. I have also worked at Eastern Illinois University, Lake Land Community College, and the Danville Correctional Center. I love working with such diverse students and feel like I connect with a lot of them having been a student once myself. I love to read, write (fiction, poetry), travel (more than 15 countries), watch horror movies, play video games and advocate for Autism/Aspergers, as I have Aspergers Syndrome otherwise now known as Autism Spectrum Disorder. I love adventure. I have been skydiving in the United States, paragliding in New Zealand, and bungy jumping in New Zealand and always looking to do more.
