Emad Tajkhorshid recognized as exceptional by Campus Committee on Promotion and Tenure

Of the approximately 100 cases that the Campus Committee on Promotion and Tenure reviewed this year, Associate Professor of Biochemistry Emad Tajkhorshid's dossier was one of just four recognized as exceptional in terms of quality of work and overall achievement. There are two of these awards given to those who have just received tenure and were promoted to the rank of associate professor. The other two awards are targeted to those who were just promoted to the professor rank. This impressive acknowledgment carries a $3000 award to support scholarly activities.
