Two recent MCB alumni have been offered fully funded opportunities through the U.S. student Fulbright program.

Linda Birnbaum and Keith Westcott are two of the four winners of the top alumni awards from the University of Illinois College of Liberal Arts and Sciences in 2010.

Paul J. Leibson, professor of immunology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and a pre-eminent researcher of NK cells died of cancer on August 6, 2007.
