Please note that all changes to course restrictions, seat reservations, and authorizations are done manually for every section in a course and in some cases for every student (authorizations). It takes time. All times of day listed below are approximate.

Undergraduate majors in the School of MCB (MCB, MCB Honors, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, MCB + Data Science) who are interested in taking MCB 247 in Spring 2026: The LINK for enrollment in 247 is no longer active. If you submitted a request for authorization, you have received an email directing you to enroll. Once authorized you will have until November 30^th to enroll. Please use caution; dropping the course in order to change your section is likely to result in you losing your seat in the course. Should this happen, we are unlikely to be able to get you back in. MCB 101: will be available through authorization only. If you are a declared major in AHS, ACES, or Exploratory Studies who is interested in taking MCB 101 in Spring 2026: The LINK for enrollment in 101 is no longer active. MCB 199 Sections M1 and M3 (MCB 150 Merit): Currently restricted to students who are BOTH undergraduate majors in the School of MCB (MCB, MCB Honors, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, MCB + Data Science) AND Merit Program students. MCB 246: will be available through reserved seats. Remaining seats will become available after 30 November 2025.

Until all authorized students have had a chance to enroll in MCB 246, we are unable to accommodate students who are making requests to change sections.

MCB 250: is currently restricted to School of MCB (SMCB) undergraduate majors and those who remain in BIOL. Remaining seats will be released on 30 November if not sooner.

MCB 251: is currently restricted to School of MCB (SMCB) undergraduate majors and those who remain in BIOL. Remaining seats will be released on 30 November if not sooner.

MCB 252: seats are reserved for School of MCB (SMCB) undergraduate majors, those who remain in BIOL, and students in other majors that require this course. Remaining seats will be released on 30 November if not sooner.

Please note that both lecture AL1 and AL2 are now open. AL2 will feature a live video feed from the AL1 classroom. Lectures are recorded for this course and posted.

MCB 253: is restricted to SMCB majors (MCB, Neuroscience, MCB + Data Science, Biochemistry). Remaining seats will be released on 30 November if not sooner.
