Course Restrictions, Seat Reservations, and Authorization

MCB 150: As of 5 pm today, Friday, 10 July 2026, all seats will be open with no restrictions.

MCB 151: course is currently full, but has no restrictions and is open to all students if/when seats becomes available.

MCB 170: As of 5 pm today, Friday, 10 July 2026, all seats will be open with no restrictions.

MCB 199: Sections M1 and M3 (MCB 150 Merit): Currently restricted for incoming students until New Student Registration has concluded in mid-July. All interested students can request authorization via this online form. Students will be contacted about their authorization request by the beginning of August.

MCB 244: course is currently full, but has no restrictions and is open to all students if/when seats becomes available.

MCB 245: course is almost full, but has no restrictions and is open to all students.

MCB 299: Section 50B (MCB 250 Merit): Currently restricted to students who are BOTH undergraduate majors in the School of MCB (Biology, MCB, MCB Honors, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, MCB + Data Science) AND current Merit Program students. All other students can request authorization via this online form. Students will be contacted about their authorization request by early May.
