Course Restrictions, Seat Reservations, and Authorization

Please note that all changes to course restrictions, seat reservations, and authorizations are done manually for every section in a course and in some cases for every student (authorizations).  It takes time.  All times of day listed below are approximate.

Undergraduate majors in the School of MCB (MCB, MCB Honors, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, MCB + Data Science) who are interested in taking MCB 247 in Spring 2027:  Please use this LINK.   If you submit a request for authorization, you will receive an email directing you to enroll when your time ticket opens. Once authorized you will have until November 18 to enroll.  Please use caution; dropping the course in order to change your section is likely to result in you losing your seat in the course. MCB 199:  Currently restricted to students who are BOTH undergraduate majors in the School of MCB (Biology, MCB, MCB Honors, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, MCB + Data Science) AND current Merit Program students. MCB 247: will be available through authorization only.  If you are a declared major in AHS, ACES, or Exploratory Studies who is interested in taking MCB 247 in Spring 2027, contact your program and request the authorization form link.  Please do not submit more than one form.   If you submit a request for authorization, you will receive an email directing you to enroll when your time ticket opens.
